What if Earth were actually flat?

Forget conspiracy theories for a moment; what does physics predict?
If Earth were a giant disc:

Gravity would pull everything toward the center, causing oceans to collect there.
Trees wouldn’t grow straight – they’d lean because gravity would no longer point straight down.
Walking toward the edge would feel like climbing an increasingly steep mountain as gravity pulled you sideways.
Without Earth’s molten outer core, there would be no geodynamo to generate our magnetic field, leaving the planet far less protected from charged particles from space.

And perhaps most importantly, gravity naturally shapes massive objects into spheres. A rocky disc simply isn’t a stable shape under the laws of physics.
The fascinating part isn’t that scientists say Earth is round; it’s that gravity, geology, astronomy, and countless independent observations all point to the same conclusion.
